Ring And Ball Test Apparatus
The apparatus is used for determining softening point of bituminous materials by ring and ball method.
The softness of bitumen depends, amongst other factors, on the temperature of the substance, where, as the temperature is raised, the softness of the bitumen increases.
Analog Model Ring and Ball Test Set is supplied complete with;
• 1 pcs Analog Hotplate with Magnetic Stirrer (G300/05)
• 2 pcs steel balls (9.5 mm dia) (B1790/01)
• 1 pcs Frame (thermometer and ring holder, ball centering guide and bottom plate) (B1790/02)
• 2 pcs brass rings (ASTM or EN (It must be specified at the time of order.)) (B1790/03-A or B1790/03-E)
• 1 pcs 600 ml glass beaker (G015/600)
• 1 pcs 110 °C thermometer (G410/02)
